Our experience is that a one - size solution doesn't fit every team.

So first we like to really clarify objectives and find out where things are today - goals, pressures, successes, diffficulties, where people are based, relationships etc. 

Then we can recommend the best way of achieving the results you require. 

Some Examples Of Our Team Development Initiatives

The Apprentice

Just like on the TV progamme we set real tasks with measurable results. The difference is that no one gets fired!

What everyone does get is feedback on their contribution and on the team operation.

Full day, multi day, non-residential or residential, competing with another team or not, videoed or just observed - whatever will work best for your team's circumstances.

Operational Review

Typically a full day and ideally offsite. We'll arrange the venue, if required.

Then we'll conduct a facilitated review of relevant, pre-defined topics, for example: objectives, challenges, strategy, operation, internal dynamics, external relationships etc. Focusing on the realities of the environment within which the team must succeed.

We'll structure and manage proceedings to involve everyone, focus appropriately and provide interest and variety.

Diagnostics

Rather than a seperate event, we'll generally incorporate an analysis of the different dynamics within the team into another initiative.

We carry out the relevant psychometrics, competency-based 360° or survey (generally online). We'll then debrief it at an appropriate time with the group. Respecting sensitivities and helping everyone recognise how to further develop their own contribution and overall performance.

Where helpful, pre or post event, we spend time with everone on a 1:1 basis to discuss their own style and approach. 

Project Team Development  

Let us have your project teams before the project starts! Please!!! We'll get them focused, commmunicating with each other and working together.

It's also a great opportunity to ensure that everyone really understands what the project is about and to agree goals, strategy and responsibilities.

Maybe driving a 4x4 is going to hit the spot for your team, or treasure hunting, or quest solving.

These events can be big "Thank - you's" and do wonders for creating history between people and helping relationships work even better. 

We'll arrange and choreograph things for you. Injecting just the right amount of debriefing to keep everything at the level you require, making sure that everyone has a great time - and further developing your team along the way!
